One of the titles we look forward to when thinking of PlayStation 5 is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, an announced sequel for one of the best PS4 exclusives and probably the best Marvel comic book gamification. But if today’s leak is correct, the game will not hit the stores right after the console is out.

The bright side of it, though, assumes that the sequel is really in production, and Sony does its best to make it as great as the first installment. This year the publisher will only show the demo. The official launch will probably take place during the 2021 Holiday season. More detailed information is yet to come.

With Great Series Comes Great Responsibility

So, having a huge success from the start, the series shouldn’t lose what made it that popular. The developers still introduce the open world, as interactive as it was, but this time it’s expanded, due to Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens included. To add even more variety, the game will partly take place in winter, changing visuals as well as physics as surfaces get more slippery. The crimes will also happen more randomly, requiring swifter reaction, as parameters like place, environment, combat requirements and so on may vary.

The protagonist is supposed to remain: the Spider-Man can be either Miles Morales or Peter Parker. But the new game will feature more villains, including Green Goblin, Carnage Mysterio, Cardiac, and others. The supporting characters will also remain.
